Day 6: Communion of Reparation

Reflection

The Blessed Mother revealed at Fatima an act of reparation that would remove the thorns which pierce her heart by the blasphemies and ingratitude of men: “On the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to Confession and receive Holy Communion, recite the Rosary and keep me company for 15 minutes while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary with the intention of making reparation to me.” This act of reparation is still indisputably relevant for us today.

“…The consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart did not take place, as she requested, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays did not become the practice of the universal Church. There ensued the terrible suffering of the Second World War and its aftermath, the spread of atheistic communism, resulting, in fact, in the persecution of many nations and of the Church in those nations, and the annihilation of some nations.”

Intention

Let us petition Our Lady of Fatima to hear our prayers for the conversion of sinners and for peace in the world and in our families.

Novena Prayer

Most Holy Virgin, you appeared at Fatima and revealed, to the three little shepherds, the treasures of graces hidden in the reciting of the Rosary.

Inspire our hearts with a sincere love of this devotion, so that by meditating on the mysteries of our redemption, we may gather its fruits and obtain the conversion of sinners, and the conversion of non-believers throughout the world.

O Holy Mary, I also ask for the favor that I now so earnestly seek…
