Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
I give Thee my heart and my soul;

may I breathe forth my soul in peace with Thee.

LITANY OF THE HOLY FAMILY

Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.

Christ, graciously hear us.
God, the Father of Heaven, have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the world, have mercy on us.
God, the Holy Spirit, have mercy on us.
Holy Trinity, one God, have mercy on us.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, pray for us
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, most worthy of our veneration, pray for us
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, called “the Holy Family” from all time, pray for us

Holy Family, tested by the greatest of difficulties, pray for us
Holy Family, with much suffering on the journey to Bethlehem, pray for us
Holy Family, without a welcome in Bethlehem, pray for us
Holy Family, visited by the poor shepherds, pray for us
Holy Family, obliged to live in a stable, pray for us
Holy Family, praised by the angels, pray for us
Holy Family, venerated by the wise men from the East, pray for us

Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, spare us, O Lord.

Let us pray:

O most loving Jesus, 
Who by Your sublime and beautiful virtues of humility, 
obedience, poverty, modesty, charity, patience and gentleness, 
and by the example of Your domestic life, 
did bless with peace and happiness 
the family You did choose on earth, 
in Your clemency look down upon this household, 
humbly kneeling before You and imploring Your mercy. 
Remember that this family belongs to You; 
for to You, we have, in a special way, dedicated and devoted ourselves. 
Look upon us in Your loving kindness; 
preserve us from danger; 
give us help in time of need, 
and grant us the grace to persevere 
to the end, in the imitation of Your Holy Family; 
that having revered You 
and loved You faithfully on earth, 
we may bless and praise You eternally in heaven. 

O Mary, most sweet Mother, 
to your intercession we have recourse, 
knowing that your Divine Son will hear your prayers. 

And to you, O glorious Patriarch, St. Joseph, 
assist us by your powerful mediation, 
and offer, by the hands of Mary, 
our prayers to Jesus.
