In its vainglory, the secular world has always tried to pull Catholics away from the supernatural and push them toward an “updated” vision of Christianity, one that alarmingly hums to the rhythm of the spirit of the world; a vision that reinterprets doctrine and makes Truth subjective.
It is important during these times to pray to Pope St. Pius X, who recognized the beauty of Catholic integrity amidst the rapidly declining practices and beliefs of his time.
Let us pray that, like in the case of this valiant Pope, the spirit of the world will not invade our and our loved ones’ loyalty to the unchanging doctrines and Truths of the Catholic Church.
