May Crowning Intentions 2023 - Catholic Action For Faith and Family

Unite with fellow devoted Catholics to Honor the Blessed Mother with a Marian Holy Hour and May Crowning Ceremony!

May is the month of Mary and the beautiful tradition of May Crowning reflects the beauty of the 5th Glorious Mystery of the Holy Rosary which it evokes. Honoring Our Lady, Queen of Heaven and Earth, honors her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ Who first crowned her as His Queen. Adorning Our Lady with a crown of flowers is a custom of great devotion to Our Holy Mother and recalls the beauty of her maternal love for us during difficult times in the world.

That is why we are pleased to invite you to join in a special Marian Holy Hour and May Crowning ceremony on May 13th, the feast of the first Apparition of Our Lady at Fatima.

The Ceremony will join Prayer Warriors from around the world at the feet of Our Blessed Mother. The ceremony will take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish in the Diocese of San Diego. Everybody is invited to join live in-person or via the international livestream. Bishop Ramon Bejarano of the Diocese of San Diego will preside at this inspiring Marian event to commemorate the 106th anniversary of the first Fatima Apparition. Our sculptured replica of the International Fatima Statue will enter in procession, Mary will be crowned, hymns sung, the Rosary recited, followed by the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all things Marian!

In these days of where demotic activity is growing in the public arena, the Sacrament of Marriage is being downplayed and gender dysphoria is being endorsed by public officials, I hope you will join us in this inspiring spiritual practice. Your prayers and intentions will be united with us at the feet of Our Blessed Mother.

Our Lady always guides as a loving mother. Her Immaculate Heart and her maternal beauty will always triumph over the ugliness of sin and suffering. In this time where we face persecution for our Catholic beliefs and uncertainties, we turn to the Blessed Virgin, Mother of the Church and Queen of Peace to ask that she intercede for us to her Son for an increase in holiness during this time of trial, among many other intentions.
