Day 9: Message of Hope

Reflection

Overall, Our Lady of Fatima’s message is full of hope! Her plan for consecration and conversions leads to holiness in our homes and families. She warns us about the evils in the world so that we may continue to fight the good fight. When the Immaculate Heart of Mary triumphs, we may with confidence join in that victory.

“While the Secret of Fatima is realistic about the great evils which beset the world and the Church, it is fundamentally a message of hope in the victory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The victory of grace, however, means for us the daily conversion to Christ, purification from sin in our lives through prayer and penance, and reparation for sins committed.”

Intention

Let us petition Our Lady of Fatima to hear our prayers for the conversion of sinners and for peace in the world and in our families.

Novena Prayer

Most Holy Virgin, you appeared at Fatima and revealed, to the three little shepherds, the treasures of graces hidden in the reciting of the Rosary.

Inspire our hearts with a sincere love of this devotion, so that by meditating on the mysteries of our redemption, we may gather its fruits and obtain the conversion of sinners, and the conversion of non-believers throughout the world.

O Holy Mary, I also ask for the favor that I now so earnestly seek…
